Carter D. Thompkins, is a founding partner and Vice President of Client Operations for Integrated Management Systems, a nationally known consulting firm specializing in the development and implementation of quality management systems in the aerospace, technology, medical and manufacturing industries.
His experience assisting dental laboratories was instrumental in the development of the International Dental Laboratory System (IDLS), a structured method of addressing FDA Regulation 21 CFR Part 820. Mr. Thompkins has significant experience in evaluating, developing and implementing quality management systems and has been involved in assisting over 50 companies with their certifications. Prior to his involvement with the quality industry, he held several senior management positions in the clinical laboratory and high tech industries. He has been a member of the American Society for Quality, Society for Human Resource Management and the American Society for Training and Development.
